Production Route: The preparation method for creatine monohydrate includes the following steps: Step 1: Nucleophilic substitution reaction between hydroxyacetonitrile aqueous solution and methylamine aqueous solution to generate methylaminoacetonitrile, with a reaction temperature of 10°C to 40°C and a reaction time of 1 hour to 6 hours; Step 2: The reaction liquid of methylaminoacetonitrile from Step 1 undergoes hydrolysis in the presence of sodium hydroxide to obtain a solution of creatine sodium, with a hydrolysis temperature of 60°C to 80°C and a hydrolysis time of 2 hours to 6 hours; Step 3: Adjust the pH to 9 to 12, and conduct a condensation reaction with cyanamide to obtain creatine monohydrate, with a condensation temperature of 50°C to 90°C and a condensation time of 1 hour to 6 hours. The method of the present invention features mild reaction conditions, minimal by-products, and high yield, making it suitable for industrial production.
